The Canadian International Youth Music Competition covers all Chinese and Western instrument solos and duets; as well as vocal bel canto, pop singing, musical solos, duets, choruses, etc. The age groups of the competition range from "amateur" and "professional" for children to 30 years old, and "amateur" and "professional" for those over 30 years old. The winners will have the opportunity to receive a scholarship to the famous Italian summer camp and the finals of the New York Global International Music Competition, and have the opportunity to attend the award ceremony at the internationally renowned Carnegie Hall.

The jury for this competition will be composed of famous musicians from all over the world and professors from the Royal Conservatory of Music and the University of Toronto's Faculty of Music. The competition video will be uploaded to well-known platforms in Canada, China and other countries for broadcast.

The CIMC-MOMA Canadian International Music Competition attracts hundreds of contestants from all over the world every year. There are not only contestants from the Greater Toronto Area, London, Waterloo, Kingston, Ottawa, and other Chinese communities, but also contestants from India and Malaysia. In the 2020 cloud competition, it attracted outstanding contestants from the United Kingdom, France, the United States, Vietnam and China. Various master classes and expert lectures were also held for the contestants, which benefited the contestants a lot. The organizer is committed to providing a platform for students who love music to showcase their talents through the annual music competition, rewarding their hard work, rewarding teachers for their hard work, and encouraging cross-cultural music exchanges and integration. Some have entered well-known music schools and well-known colleges and universities for further studies and become excellent musicians.Picture of the authorThe organizer, Toronto (MOMA) Multicultural Music and Art Education Center, is an excellent art group active in the Greater Toronto Area all year round. It is jointly created by a group of outstanding professionals and has participated in organizing various forms of art activities. The chairman of the art center is the famous music educator and pianist Han Li, who won the (Community Leaders) Award at the 9th Chinese Media Awards Ceremony. She has also been invited to give lectures and performances at famous music schools, and has also served as a judge for many music competitions.
